Expedition Manaslu - The adventure begins

27.10.2017

Hans Kammerlander, Stephan Keck, and a part of the film crew are already in Kathmandu, Nepal and make all preparations for the expedition. Between November the 13th and the 24th, the rope team will try to reach their destination and then descent from the 8163-meter summit with skis on a new route.

EXPEDITION MANASLU - The adventure begins

Both love their sport and the mountains, but above all, they have in common that they want to help "underdeveloped mountaineering countries" in their own way.

"We are adventurers - on our way through the world, we often depend on the help of strangers to reach our goal. We just want to return something. "

Aid projects

Stephan will show Hans scenes of the aid campaign of www.stepzero.one  in Nepal, and he has also invited him to come to Pakistan where Stephan and his team train Pakistani children and teenagers in skiing for three weeks in January every year.

Hans Kammerlander

„Zu meinen Expeditionen wurden mir jede Menge Fragen gestellt, aber ich wurde nie gefragt, ob es da oben (am Gipfel) schön war.“
